About the photographer
D. Kevin Elliott is an editorial/commercial
photographer based in Indianapolis, Indiana,
and has been practicing his trade since
1984. After several years at the Virginian-
Pilot, Kevin made the leap to full-time free
lance. Among other jobs, Kevin has
worked with deep sea divers in the Gulf
of Mexico, rode a motorcycle cross-country,
served in the Navy and remains a member
of the Navy Reserve. He focuses those
